We spent two very enjoyable nights at Palazzo Pulieri. It was an incredible experience. The Palazzo itself is unbelievably beautiful. Its is situated near the top of Altino, a beautiful hill town. The views are breathtaking. The rooms are beautiful and there is access to reading rooms, a dining room and outdoor terraces. The host is incredibly warm and generous. What a gem! We plan to return as soon as possible,

This was an amazing 15 century mansion in a beautifully quiet small Italian town. Altino is a very small quiet little town about 20 minutes from the mountains and 25 minutes from the beach. It is a perfect place to explore the area from and there is plenty to do if you do some homework. This is old world Italy with very few tourists, a perfect place for that authentic experience. The moment the front doors are opened you realise that this place is amazing. There is a beautiful mix of historic old world charm while still providing a place that you can comfortably live in. The bedrooms are very comfortable and you get access to the whole of this noble house including library and lounge rooms. It’s a bit like living in a piece of history. Valeria provides breakfast each morning, has the local knowledge and even helped us book a restaurant - she has mastered google voice translate, so we could even have complex conversations. Filipino manages the palazzo, he was very responsive and incredibly pleasant to dal with, he met us the day we arrived and rang to check that we were okay the next day. If you want somewhere peaceful, beautiful and relaxed to stay away from the tourist trail, then this is for you. We stayed two nights, should have stayed longer.
